Caroline is a 200 level Engineering student of a Tertiary Institution. She is very dedicated to her studies and barely has a social life. She has very few friends and is often seen by many as anti-social. Caroline reported to the Dean of Student Affairs that when she was walking through the student union building, some boys started to make cat-calls and whistles directed at her but she ignored them. She had kept a straight face and pretended not to hear them. The boys however did not stop at that, she alleged. One of them walked up to her, smacked and squeezed her buttocks while another wrapped his arm around her from the back and squeezed her breast, whispering in her ear that she was too proud and that he would eventually find a way to have sex with her. She eventually struggled and was able to escape from the scene. She was obviously traumatized by the experience and was seeking for something to be done to address the situation. During investigation, a few other students attested to the fact that they had had similar experiences but were too petrified to report because they believed the alleged perpetrators who were notorious will further harm them if they reported. The identities of some of the alleged perpetrators have been revealed to the team.
